For over 20 years, Weavery's founder, Silas Everett, dedicated his life to poverty alleviation and good governance, setting up peace-building, reconciliation, and civil society strengthening programs across the Balkans, the Caucasus, and the Asia region. His work brought him to the heart of communities scarred by conflict and adversity, where he fostered dialogue, rebuilt trust, and empowered local leaders to drive sustainable change.

Despite the progress, Silas realized that traditional methods alone were not enough to tackle the complex, evolving challenges faced by these communities. He saw the potential for technology to revolutionize humanitarian work but knew that many organizations lacked the resources and expertise to harness its power effectively.

Driven by this vision, Silas returned to the United States and enrolled at UC Berkeley, where he earned a Master’s in Data Science. Equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and a deep understanding of the needs on the ground, he founded Weavery, a consultancy dedicated to integrating artificial intelligence into global development initiatives.

Weavery was born out of a belief that just as threads are woven together to create a strong and beautiful tapestry, technology and human expertise can be intertwined to build resilient, thriving communities. The company’s mission is to provide strategic advice, training, and innovative solutions to humanitarian organizations, enabling them to leverage AI to enhance their operations and amplify their impact.
